Hikes starting here

Driving Directions

From downtown Portland:

Drive Highway 26 west to Exit 64 for NW 185th Avenue.

Turn right onto 185th Avenue after exiting for PCC – Rock Creek. Drive 0.2 miles and turn left onto NW Rock Creek Boulevard.

Drive 0.9 miles and park on the street near the signed Rock Creek Trailhead.

Alternatives to Driving

Tri-met Bus #47 runs along Evergreen Parkway. Get off one stop west of Tanasbourne Mall and walk back along Evergreen about a block to access the northern section of the trail.

Tri-met Bus #52 runs along 185th Avenue and stops near the intersection with Rock Creek Boulevard. You will have to walk west 0.9 miles along the latter to access the trailhead.

Other Notes

  • Park open dawn to dusk
  • Restrooms, picnic tables, play area, and disk golf course at Orchard Park
  • Keep dogs on leash
