Rainy-Wahtum-Black Lake Trail Junction

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

At the Black Lake Trail 409A, Rainy-Wahtum Trail (bobcat)
Upper end of the Black Lake Trail 409A (bobcat)

The abandoned Black Lake Trail #409A leads off from the Rainy-Wahtum Trail #409 about 400 yards south of the Rainy Lake Trailhead and 200 yards from the old gate posts on the Rainy-Wahtum Trail. The junction is just before the Rainy-Wahtum Trail begins to rise. There's a small cairn here on the left side of the road and a broken snag across the track just before the junction. A few yards into the woods, you'll see an old sign post on a tree.
