Fees and Regulations

  • Day use only: no fires or camping
  • Picnic tables, information kiosk
  • Not recommended to take dogs on the catwalk

Driving Directions

Drive I-84 east and take Exit 64 for Highway 35, White Salmon, and Government Camp.

After exiting, turn right on Button Bridge Road for Mt. Hood, Government Camp, and Highway 35. After 0.3 miles, come to a Stop sign, and keep straight on Highway 35 for Odell, Parkdale, and Mt. Hood.

In just 0.1 miles, bear right to pass through an open gate.

Drive downhill 0.2 miles on broken pavement to the parking area near the decommissioned Powerdale Powerhouse.
