Driving Directions

From the last traffic light in Sandy, just past the ARCO station, drive 30.9 miles, passing through Government Camp, and exit right onto Highway 35 for Hood River.

Drive 4.7 miles and, just past the White River Bridge, turn right onto paved FR 48 for Rock Creek Reservoir and Wamic.

Go 24.1 miles on FR 48 and turn a sharp left onto FR 4810 for the Rock Creek Day Use Area and Camp Cody Group Camp.

This is a narrow paved road with pullouts. After 0.2 miles, go right on FR 4810 for Camp Cody.

Drive another 2.0 miles and go right onto FR 4811 for the Bonney Crossing Campground.

In 1.2 miles, reach a junction and keep straight.

The paved road here becomes rather rough. Go another 4.0 miles on FR 4811 (After 3.1 miles, the road becomes gravel) and keep straight (right) at the junction with the 150 spur.

Drive another 0.8 miles and turn right on the 015 spur.

Go 0.3 miles on this narrow track, O.K. for passenger cars, to the trailhead parking area.

Note: This trailhead serves two trails: the Post Camp Trail #467 and the Three Mile Trail #466.
