Regulations or restrictions, etc

  • $10 day-use pass or annual Discover Pass required
  • Park open 8 a.m. to dusk
  • Dogs on leash
  • Campground, restrooms, picnic area
  • Trail along the river can be very wet or totally submerged.

Driving Directions

Drive I-5 north to Exit 16 for La Center and the Cowlitz Reservation.

After exiting, reach a roundabout and turn right onto La Center Road.

Then take the first left onto N.W. Paradise Park Road.

Drive 1.1 miles to a Stop sign and turn left here to descend 0.3 miles to a junction below the freeway bridge over the East Fork Lewis River.

Bear right into a gravel parking area.
