Pacific Crest-Paradise Park Loop South Trail Junction

Description

The modern Pacific Crest Trail is an amalgamation of older trails, connecting older and more recent reroutes. The original trail in this area was the Skyline Trail. In this area, it climbed high on the side on Mount Hood into Paradise Park. The original trail switchbacked here and a newer rerouted trail heads straighter north. The old route is now called the Paradise Park Loop Trail.
