Pacific Crest-Mount Thielsen Trail Junction

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

At the Pacific Crest Trail junction, with Diamond Lake and Mt. Bailey in the background (bobcat)

Description

The Mount Thielsen Trail # 1456 reaches the Pacific Crest Trail here at one of the highest points on the PCT in Oregon. (The PCT Oregon high point is north of here just below Tipsoo Peak.) From the junction, a climber's trail that braids in places makes its way along the ridge to the summit horn of Mount Thielsen.
