Driving Directions

From Portland, drive east on I-84 to Cascade Locks. Take the first Cascade Locks exit (Exit 44).

Drive under the Bridge of the Gods and a couple of blocks later, turn right on Wasco Street.

Drive one block and make another right on Moody Street. Drive under the freeway and reach a junction.

Bear right and continue 50 yards on Harvey Road.

Pull into the new paved parking area here.

From Washington, cross the Bridge of the Gods and pay your toll in the booth. Drive to the foot of the bridge road and turn right on Wa-Na-Pa Street. Turn right on Wasco St and follow the directions above.

Other Notes

This trailhead used to be the alternative when the Bridge of the Gods Trailhead was closed during winter. The latter is now open all year (Northwest Forest Pass required; restrooms closed in winter), but the Harvey Road Trailhead is always an option.
