Oneonta Creek Ford

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Looking up Oneonta Creek (Steve Hart)

Campsite near the crossing (Jeff Statt)

Although there are three trail bridges over Oneonta Creek, the builders of Horsetail Creek Trail #425 decided not to build a fourth. This ford is pretty easy during periods of low water, but when the water's high in winter and spring, it may be difficult to cross.

There's a bridge about 500 feet down the creek if the crossing seems at all dangerous. There are trails going along both sides of the creek.
