Oneonta-Horsetail Falls Trail Junction

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Signs at the trail junction (bobcat)
Wilderness permit box just above the junction on the Oneonta Trail (bobcat)

This is a important trail junction pinned to the side of Oneonta Canyon. The Oneonta Trail #424 continues southward from here into the Mark O. Hatfield Wilderness toward Triple Falls and Larch Mountain. The Horsetail Falls Trail #438 heads east to Ponytail Falls and Horsetail Falls.

Just above the junction on the Oneonta Trail are a wilderness permit box and sign indicating the wilderness boundary.
