Driving Directions

From Portland:

Drive Highway 26 west about 60 miles from Beaverton and turn left at Necanicum Junction onto Highway 53 for Wheeler.

Proceed 17.5 miles on this winding paved highway and turn right on the Miami Foley Road.

Go 1.0 miles and turn left onto Foss Road.

Drive up alongside the old Port of Tillamook Bay Railroad and the Nehalem River. After 6.8 miles, Foss Road becomes gravel.

Continue another 0.3 miles, and turn left into the access road for the Nehalem Falls Campground.

Park at the gate if you are here in winter. Otherwise, drive down a short distance and park in the day-use pullout opposite the trail sign for Nehalem Falls.
