Hikes starting here

Driving Directions

Drive Highway 43 south.

From the junction with the Sellwood Bridge, keep going for 8.5 miles through Oregon City and West Linn to the I-205 overpass, where you stay left for Oregon City.

From here, drive 0.3 miles over the Oregon City Bridge.

Turn right onto Main Street, then left onto 6th Street after one block.

Make another left onto Railroad Avenue and park on the left or right side of the street in a public parking space (2 hours maximum).

Alternatives to Driving

Tri-met Bus #33 stops on Railroad Avenue near the elevator. Tri-met Bus #79 and Tri-met Bus #99 will let you off on Main Street four blocks north of the elevator.

Other Notes

  • Pay for 2-hour parking (coin or fee station)
  • Dogs on leash
  • Parks closed 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
  • All-user restroom on Railroad Avenue at the elevator
