Moulton Falls

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

(Redirected from Moulton Falls Trailhead)
Moulton Falls in late August (Steve Hart)

Description

Moulton Falls is just a few steps from the parking area at the Moulton Falls Lower Trailhead but can also be viewed from the trail on the opposite bank of the East Fork Lewis River (see the Moulton Falls Hike). The falls are only ten feet high where the East Fork pours through a cleft in the rugged lava layer that carries the river at this point.
