Driving Directions

From Portland and the Willamette Valley:

Drive I-5 south and take Exit 124 for Highway 138E, Roseburg City Center, and Diamond Lake.

Go left after exiting and drive 0.7 miles to make a left turn onto SE Stephen Street for Winchester and Diamond Lake.

Drive 0.3 miles, and turn right onto Highway 138 (the North Umpqua Highway) for Crater Lake and Diamond Lake.

Drive 59.2 miles east and, after passing Steamboat Inn and crossing Steamboat Creek, turn right on FR 4712 for the North Umpqua Trail.

Go 0.1 miles, crossing the Mott Bridge over the North Umpqua River, and pull into the Mott Trailhead on your right.
