Mosier Viewpoint

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

View west to Hood River Mountain from the viewpoint (bobcat)

This viewpoint on an anticline, with its hexagonal basalt seats, sits above the Mosier Syncline, in the depression below, and offers views west over Mosier to Rocky Flat, Eighteenmile Island, and the Bingen Gap. Stay on the trail here so as not to disturb sensitive cliff top plant communities.
