Driving Directions

Take Exit 253 on I-5 South for Highway 22, 99E Business, Stayton and Detroit Lake.

Turn right for the City Center onto Mission St. (also 22 and 99E Business), driving 2.9 miles, keeping right at the overpass and straight at Liberty St., before coming to the junction with Commercial St.

Turn left here and go 0.2 miles before turning right on Owens St, which bends left to become River Road S.

Motor 1.2 miles before making a right turn on Minto Island Road.

Cross the railroad tracks and go 1.1 miles on the park road to reach Parking Lot 3.

Other Notes

  • No fees
  • Dogs on leash except in designated off-leash area
  • Picnic areas, restrooms, playground, information kiosks
  • Note that some paths (notably A, C, E, and the Blue Loop) can be inundated at times of high water
  • Open 8:00 a.m. to sunset
