Mima Mounds Trailhead

Regulations or restrictions, etc

  • $10 day-use pass or annual Discover Pass required
  • Pets not permitted on the trails
  • Restrooms, picnic area, interpretive trail, information kiosk

Driving Directions

Drive I-5 north to Exit 95 for Highway 121N, Littlerock and Maytown.

After exiting, come to a Stop sign. Turn left here on Maytown Road for Littlerock.

Drive 0.1 miles and come to another Stop sign. Turn right for Littlerock.

Drive 3.0 miles into Littleneck on Maytown Road, pass through a traffic light, and continue straight on 128th Avenue where the main road curves left.

From this junction, drive 0.7 miles on 128th and turn right on Waddell Creek Road.

After 0.8 miles, turn left into the Mima Mounds Natural Area Preserve.

It’s 0.4 miles on a narrow paved road to trailhead parking (The first parking area on the right is for the picnic area).
