Driving Directions
From downtown Portland:
Drive up N.W. Lovejoy Street to its end and make a right on Cornell Road for Macleay Park and the Audubon Society of Portland.
From here, it’s 1.3 miles, making two lefts and one right and going through two tunnels on winding Cornell Road, to find two parking pullouts, one after the other, on the right. If you reach the Portland Audubon Society, you've gone too far.
Alternatives to Driving
There is no direct bus access to the trailhead. Tri-met Bus #18 winds up through the Hillside neighborhood. Take Macleay Park trails from the dead-ends on Cumberland Road or NW Macleay Boulevard and hike down the slope to Cornell and the Audubon Society of Portland headquarters.
Other Notes
- Trails open dawn to dusk.
- Dogs on leash
