Lower Wygant Viewpoint

Description

One of the first viewpoints on the Wygant Peak Hike is the Lower Wygant Viewpoint, located on top of an 80-foot bluff directly above I-84. The view is wide and sweeping, from Hood River area in the east to Table Mountain in the west. There is plenty of space to roam around on the bluff and it would be an ideal lunch spot.

The spur trail here has become overgrown over the years and is very brushy, so watch out for poison oak!
