From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

The junction with Multnomah Creek Way on the Larch Mountain Trail (bobcat)
Sign at the junction (Steve Hart)

This is a trail junction on the upper section of the Larch Mountain Trail just outside the westernmost extension of the Mark O. Hatfield Wilderness. The Larch Mountain Trail #441 continues up to the summit of Larch Mountain at Sherrard Point. The Multnomah Creek Way Trail explores the Larch Mountain crater.

A wilderness sign and a permit box were placed at the junction in 2021. No mountain bikes are permitted in the wilderness area north of the junction.
