Jackpot Meadow (bobcat)

Description

The trails around Jackpot Meadow were once sheep and cattle trails when that activity was common in the Mt. Hood National Forest. The meadow hosts a couple of campsites, mainly used by hunters in the fall. In early summer, the meadow is still very soggy and the trail may be under water.

The meadow is best visited in late summer/fall when the mosquitoes have all died. Otherwise, you will suffer as never before . . .
