Indian Flat

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Looking to the meadow at Indian Flat (Jerry Adams)

Description

Indian Flat is a meadow area next to Indigo Creek. It's a nice place to camp or watch deer.

The flat is about 4.4 miles from the Illinois River West Trailhead. At 520 feet elevation is an unmarked junction. Bear left, and follow old jeep road down to Indian Flat. It's about 0.1 mile and 150 feet. There's a large meadow area with a number of previosuly used campsites - one sort of in the middle and another further up and closer to the stream.
