Indian Beach

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

On Indian Beach at Canyon Creek (bobcat)

Description

Indian Beach is a popular destination tucked between Indian Point on the north side and Bald Point on the south. Walking south on the beach, you can get a view north to ”Terrible Tilly”, a notorious lighthouse constructed atop a wave-bashed rock. You can also see the sea stacks off Ecola Point, including Sea Lion Rock with its prominent arch. The beach is sandy but strewn with cobbles. Both Canyon Creek and Indian Creek run onto the north end of beach and may require a shallow wade. The beach is just below the Indian Beach Trailhead. It can be reached via the Oregon Coast Trail, which crosses a footbridge over Canyon Creek.
