From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

The pipeline on Holgate Lane near the junction (bobcat)

Description

Hikers come to this junction after switchbacking up the slope on the Elderberry Trail from the Dogwood Loop and/or the 148th Avenue Trailhead on the north side of Powell Butte Nature Park. On this section of Holgate Lane, a galvanized water pipe runs along the edge of the old road bed.
