Herman Creek-Casey Creek Way Trail Junction

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

The Casey Creek Way Trail #476 connects the Herman Creek Trail #406 with Nick Eaton Ridge Trail. The trail has not been maintained in years and, since the 2017 Eagle Creek Fire, has been difficult to locate in places.

Casey Creek Camp is just beyond the junction. It's 3.6 miles from Herman Creek Trailhead. Water is available in the next drainage, where Casey Creek crosses the Herman Creek Trail.

A small side trail heads steeply downhill from here to Herman Creek Forks, where the East and West Forks of Herman Creek combine. This was the beginning of the West Fork Herman Creek Trail #407. Since the 2017 Eagle Creek Fire, the tread has been greatly obscured in places and is covered in debris.
