Gorge-Upper McCord Creek Falls Trail Junction

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Old, fallen sign at McCord Creek Trail Junction (the sign was burned in the Eagle Creek Fire) (Steve Hart)
The Upper McCord Creek Falls Trail leads up to the left from the Gorge 400 Trail (bobcat)

This is a trail junction in John B Yeon State Scenic Corridor. The Gorge Trail continues eastward toward Elowah Falls. The Upper McCord Creek Falls Trail climbs via a series of restored CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) switchbacks toward an upper viewpoint of Elowah Falls from a handrailed cliff trail and then proceeds to Upper McCord Creek Falls.
