Giant Forest Trail-Hamilton Railroad Grade Junction

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

The Giant Forest Trail leaving the old railroad grade on the left (bobcat)

Description

On the old Hamilton Railroad Grade that runs up the east side of Hamilton Creek, this unmarked junction is just past Railroad Camp. The Giant Forest Trail, which can be challenging to follow at times, rises from here to a saddle hosting a grove of large Douglas-firs.
