Fort Yamhill Trailhead

Hikes starting here

Driving Directions

Drive I-5 South to Exit 294 for 99W, Tigard and Newberg. Keep on 99 West through Tigard, Sherwood, Newberg and Dundee for 22.9 miles and then turn left onto Highway 18 for Dayton and the Oregon Coast.

Drive 19.9 miles to Valley Junction. Here, make a right turn on Highway 22W for Hebo and Tillamook.

After 1.0 miles, turn right for Fort Yamhill.

Drive up 0.7 miles past the Grand Ronde Reservation pow-wow grounds and longhouse to the parking area for Fort Yamhill State Heritage Area.
