Description

Burroughs Mountain is a long volcanic ridge on the east side of Mount Rainier. First Burroughs Mountain is a flat summit on the east end of the ridge. The Burroughs Mountain Trail skirts the north edge of the plateau and the Sunrise Rim Trail crosses the summit and descends the southern side of the ridge.
