Hikes starting here

Driving Directions

From Blue River, OR, travel 4 miles east on Highway 126 and turn right onto Forest Road 19 (Aufderheide).

Stay to the right at the Y junction and continue for 3 miles to the dam on Cougar Reservoir.

Turn left across the dam onto Forest Road 1993 and drive 3 miles.

The Parking lot is on the right.

Fees, Regulations, etc.

  • Parking is $5/vehicle/day
  • Recreation Passes may be used as a form of fee payment
  • Forest Road 19 is not maintained for snow
