Hike Description

Starting at Eagles Rest Lower Trailhead hike a little less than two miles up an easy grade to Eagles Rest Upper Trailhead, passing Ash Swale Shelter along the way.

After the upper trailhead the trail gets a little steeper. There is some poison oak along this upper section.

This is a multi-use trail, watch out for mountian bikes coming down hill.

To change this to a 12.6 mile round trip start at Hardesty Lower Trailhead and follow Goodman Trail 4 miles to Eagles Rest Lower Trailhead.
