Driving Directions

From Highway 20 east of Sweet Home, turn north on Quartzville road and travel 20.5 miles. Turn left onto paved 11-3E-35.3 (a.k.a. S. Fork Packers Road).

When you come to a T, turn right onto paved 11-3E-35.1 (a.k.a. Yellowstone Access Road).

Take this paved road to the next T. Go left onto a gravel road, usually suitable for passenger cars with a little clearance, for 0.9 miles until it is blocked by boulders at an old quarry, and park.

The trailhead begins just beyond the boulders. The trailhead is 28 miles from Highway 20 via this route.
