Cook and Green Lower Trailhead

Driving Directions

From I-5, take Exit 30 at Medford, then west on Hwy 230 for 8 miles through Jacksonville to the small community of Ruch. In Ruch, turn south and go 18.8 miles to the end of Applegate Lake. At the T-junction, go left (east) for 1.2 miles to a big gravel intersection. Turn sharp right on one-lane gravel road FR 1040 for 3.2 miles to the Cook and Green Trailhead sign. The Horse Camp Trailhead is approximately 0.5 miles further along FR 1040 on the south (left) side of the road.
