Burnt Rock

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Burnt Rock from the ridge leading to Crystal Lake, Mt. Adams (bobcat)

Burnt Rock is a rocky prominence of platy andesite located near Sheep Lake on the west shoulder of Mount Adams. It sits on the boundary of the 2012 Cascade Creek Fire, with the north side of the knoll remaining outside the fire zone.

A barely discernible user trail leads through meadows and up the ridge from here to Crystal Lake.
