Buck Mountain-Rackett Ridge Tie Trail Junction

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Map sign at the junction, with the tie trail leading off on the left (bobcat)

Description

Use the fire road from this junction to connect with the Rackett Ridge Trail via a gated road bridge. The Rackett Ridge Trail actually begins at the Howard Creek Trailhead, but departing from the trailhead involves a deep ford of the South Fork Silver Creek - good for horses but not for hikers.
