Bonnie Falls

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Looking at Bonnie Falls, near the Crown Z Trail (bobcat)

Description

Bonnie Falls splits North Scappoose Creek and drops 15 feet over a basalt face. A tight fish ladder allows migrating steelhead to head farther upstream.

The falls is along the Banks-Vernonia Highway, less than a quarter of a mile before the turnoff for the Bonnie Falls Trailhead on the Crown Z Linear Trail. You can downclimb a short cliff from the viewpoint to get a better view of the falls, but take care!
