Blue Heaven Cabin

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Claim jar and elk rack, Blue Heaven Cabin (bobcat)
Blue Heaven Cabin, North Fork John Day River (bobcat)

The Blue Heaven Claim was worked for 30 years by Guy Hafer until 2004; Guy passed away in 2007. A jar above the door holds the claim papers, and his tools are still leaning against the log cabin’s wall. There's a rudimentary outhouse here as well.

Please look, but don't touch so that others may also appreciate the history.
