From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

  • Hikes including this location:
    • Atwood Road is a county road and can be hiked even though it crosses private land. You will pass this location if you are hiking between Courtney Road and Coyote Wall.

Atwood Road is a county road that runs between Courtney Road and Catherine Creek, including along part of the upper Coyote Wall rim. In many places, it crosses private property, so please obey all property signs. Park along Courtney Road if you want to access Atwood from the north, but for most it's better to hike up from the Coyote Wall Trailhead. DO NOT drive down Atwood Road and park.
