Driving Directions

In north Medford, take Exit 30 from I-5 to Highway 62.

Follow Highway 62 to between mileposts 51 and 52, and turn left (west) on to paved FR 68 (Woodruff Meadows Road).

Stay with FR 68 (good signage) for 4.9 paved miles and 7.4 good gravel miles to a pass and park in the gravel pullout. There may be an Abbott Butte Trailhead sign here.

You can also reach this pass by exiting I-5 at Canyonville and following the USFS directions in the link below - but this way is slower and involves more gravel roads.
