Ingalls Creek 5-19,20-08 Hwy 97 near Blewett Pass WA

Full trip report at NWHikers.net   http://www.nwhikers.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7966951

On Monday I drove east to the Teanaway area since it offers higher elevation earlier in the season as compared to the western slopes closer to Seattle. A friend headed up there with me but he couldn't stay for the night so we drove in two cars, not too efficient on gas, but oh well. I realized about a mile into the hike that I had forgotten my CF card for my DSLR at home, grrrrrrr, but I still had my point and shoot with me to capture the moments.

With all of the snowmelt due to the recent high temps, Ingalls Creek was flowing rather heavily.

The weather was good with tolerable temps and there were patchy high clouds. We found a great spot for me to set up camp for the night right along the creek with views of the Stuart Range to the north and Three Brothers, Navaho Peak to the south.

A friend at work gave me a hard time when he learned that I hiked off trail along up to this waterfall.

My trip down from the falls really did a number on my legs.

I relaxed after some dinner and headed out in the morning with light rain falling.

More pics and crapily narrated video at the above NWHiker link.  :)
