Backpacking ideas

I'm looking for a 20-30 mile backpacking trip for this weekend. I live in Bend and am willing to drive about 4-5 hours but no more than that. Originally we were going to head up to Wahtum Lake via Eagle Creek and make a loop but it seems to still be under a lot of snow. If anyone has new information on that area or ideas for backpacking over Memorial weekend please send it my way.
