| What a beautiful view from the top!
Switchbacks all the way to the top, but with views of Iron Mtn itself and the Santiam Canyon all the way up. Wildflowers along the way ranging from slender paintbrush, trilliums, yellow violets, and menzie's larkspur. Some spots of snow that you have to climb over - little bit slippery, but manageable. There are several benches at various points for the view toward Browder Ridge.
You are rewarded with awesome views of Diamond Peak, Three Sisters, Broken Top, Mt. Washington, Mt. Jefferson, and Mt. Hood! The Sisters loom before you like ghostly mountain tops. View of Mt. Jefferson was my second favorite. Cone Peak meadows is just across the way
