Hikes starting here

Fees, Regulations, Facilities

  • $5 three-day pass
  • Dogs on leash
  • Interpretive center, restrooms, picnic area, brochures, lighthouse and tide pool tours

Driving Directions

From Portland:

Drive I-5 South to Exit 294 for 99W, Tigard and Newberg.

Keep on 99 West through Tigard, Sherwood, Newberg and Dundee for 22.9 miles and then turn left onto Highway 18 for Dayton and the Oregon Coast.

Drive all the way on Highway 18 (52.7 miles). Before Highway 101, there’s a junction where cars going north peel off to the right for Neskowin and Tillamook.

Drive 0.7 more miles and merge with Highway 101 South.

Drive 27.1 miles through Lincoln City and turn right for Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area.

It’s 0.3 miles to the fee booth ($5 for entry - good for three days) and another 0.7 miles to the circular parking area near the Yaquina Head Lighthouse.
