Driving Directions

From downtown Portland:

Drive Highway 26 west from downtown Portland and take Exit 72.

The road curves around to the right and then hooks left past the Children’s Museum and the World Forestry Center. Zoo parking is on your right.

About 0.7 miles from leaving the freeway, pass the Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial and then pull into a small parking area on your right just before the junction of S.W. Kingston and S.W. Knights Boulevard.

Alternatives to Driving

Tri-met Bus #63 stops at the Wildwood Trailhead.

The MAX Blue Line and the MAX Red Line both stop at the underground Washington Park MAX Platform near the Oregon Zoo.
