Hi there! List and hiking newbie Steve here. I come from a family of outdoorsman and hunters, but somewhere along the way I went astray. After close to twenty years of little outdoor activity, I've recently returned to hiking and outdoor photography. I'm still lacking a lot in the equipment department, so most of my recent stuff has been day hiking. I do most of my hiking solo or with my kids, but that's mostly due to time pressures.
I'm a one man IT dept by day and a line dance instructor by night. I'm VERY happily married and a father of two boys, CJ (11) and Micah (6). I tend to be a bit overboard in most of my hobbies, so don't be surprised if we wind up discussing details.
