Driving Directions

Drive I-84 east to The Dalles and take Exit 87 for Dufur and Bend.

After exiting, turn left for the DMV-DOT, State Police, The Dalles Dam and Yakima. From here, drive 3.5 miles across The Dalles Bridge to the intersection with Highway 14 E on the Washington side of the river.

Bear right here for Kennewick, and drive 1.5 miles.

Turn right at the sign for Columbia Hills State Park. Keep straight all the way to the gravel parking area for the boat landing (not left) before the railroad tracks.

Other Notes

Bear in mind that this parking area fills up quickly and early on weekend mornings with people arriving to take rock climbing clinics.
