Round Lake Dam

Description

Round Lake is a natural lake, but a dam was built in 1883, raising the water level about 12 feet. Today's dam in actually the third on the site, replacing two earlier wooden structures. The walkway atop the dam weaves around handles and gears used to manually open and close the spillways.
