Pheasant Creek Falls

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Pheasant Creek Falls (Darin Rhein)

Description

Pheasant Creek takes a 124 foot plunge over a basalt escarpment. There's an upper tier of 18 feet and then a single drop of 106 feet to a small plunge pool. Though Pheasant Creek does flow year-round, winter and early spring are the best time of year to visit this waterfall. Guidebooks and the Forest Service still call this waterfall Niagara Falls event though it is on Pheasant Creek.
