The Olympus Guard Station on the Hoh River Trail (bobcat)
Camped closed to the Hoh River at the Olympus Guard Station (bobcat)

Description

The guard station, at 9.1 miles on the Hoh River Trail, is a log cabin with a shake roof. There's an information kiosk outside. The cabin was constructed in the 1930s, and the guard station was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

The group sites are off the trail to the west of the guard station; there's a bear wire to the north of the trail. There are a couple of outhouses and trails out to campsites under alders and on the gravel bars of the river: the park encourages camping on the latter as all traces will disappear during the high water season.
