Hikes starting here

Driving Directions

Drive I-84 east and take Exit 17 for Marine Drive and 257th Avenue.

Keep straight for 257th Avenue, and after 0.7 miles, turn right onto 257th Avenue for Downtown Troutdale.

In 0.3 miles, make a left at the traffic light onto the Columbia River Highway.

Follow the highway through downtown Troutdale for 0.7 miles, jinking right and then left before making a right turn into Glenn Otto Park before the bridge over the Sandy River.

Alternatives to Driving

Tri-met Bus #77 stops at 257th Avenue and Graham Road. Walk about 800 yards north to the trailhead.

Other Notes

  • Picnic tables, restrooms at Glenn Otto Park
  • NO dogs permitted in Glenn Otto Park or on the Sandy River acreage.
  • Glenn Otto Park open 8:00 a.m. to dusk
